Thanks for the info I'm running smw on snes9x (best for my macbook pro) and the built-in patcher is a godsend lol. I'm glad to see that there are so many people dedicated to modding games such as smb, link to the past, and others.

There are sooooo many smw/smb hacks though that I dont know where to begin lol. I downloaded 15 or so that I thought showed the best promise cuz lets face it, nobody has time to play the 200+ hacks out there lol.

Brutal Mario, Dr. Mario World, and the Mario Adventure series have been good. I'm out of the old "frustrating" hack phase lol I'm looking now for amazingly redone graphics, powerups, and moderately challenging level design. I found Brutal Mario to be nearly flawless for that.

If you know of any crazy awesome ones let me know

Also on a side-note I've kinda looked around for an ocarina of time or majora's mask remake out there but its been a fruitless search so far. Any info would be appreciated. I love to enjoy the truly impressive and hard work of the hacking community and an awesome n64 zelda remake would be beyond badass hahaha

1. No, it just replaces the fireflower, they're technically all the same but with different GFX.
so, one at a time

2. Its impossible without lotsa ASM, because the fireballs have special tables and they would need to be expanded and repointed and stuff.

Leaf's Power-Up Hack

I downloaded Leaf's weapon hack (bullets, baby yoshi lol, fire, hammer, ect.)
The first thing I noticed is that they are split into multiple ips files.

Can more than one ips patch be applied at the same time?? (renaming all of them to match the rom for snex9x's built-in patcher) or will they conflict and cause the rom to behave strangely? or will simply one patch override the rest?

I'd like to know if they all randomly generate out of the blocks (including flower power) or once again if only one item can be applied while it replaces all power-ups.

Lastly, I would like to know how to turn off the bullet limit for the flower power. I have looked into it and can't find anything. All I could figure out was that it is some sort of hex value in Lunar Magic, but I have no idea which one and nobody has any posts telling which one it is.

The closest I got to the correct hex (not that close to what i was actually trying to find lol) was this hex (0x05282) which only changes which form of mario shoots fire pellets. (set to 1 would cause normal mario to have flower power, or another value would cause cape mario to shoot them)

If you haven't heard somehow, NintendoCapriSun and ChuggaaConRoy accounts, among others, have been suspended due to hundreds and hundreds of false copyright claims against them. The strangest and most retarded being a claim saying they owned NCS and Chuggaa's voices. The Youtube bots that control the Copyright claims does not investigate the claims at the slightest and instead, only suspends or ignores depending on the number of claims sent out. The people who are hacking Youtube and suspending people due to claims is CONJOPI, a group of people, 7 to be exact, that have been doing all of this mayhem only to prove how broken the flagging system is. Why they chose LPers to show this experiment on, I have no idea.

CONJOPI first posted on NCS's main channel, NintendoCapriSun, warning he had 2 days to prepare himself before he was suspended. NCS took action immediately and put all of his videos on private. The flaw that NCS didn't realize though was his background on his page, plus the fact the hackers could obviously still get to the videos through hacking. CONJOPI reported the background image a good 50 times and then started flagging the videos, with claims like "own Pokemon", "own Nintendo", "own NCS's voice", and other rediculous claims. Eventually, NCS's LP channel was suspended, and soon followed his other channels where he did vlogs, JealousGuy and his new channel, BreakingNCS, which BreakingNCS actually still is in tact but no videos. 

Soon, Chuggaa met the almost exact same fate as NCS. Chuggaa's fanbase and NCS's went haywire and rioted. Many videos have been made about suspending CONJOPI, Supporting NCS and Chuggaa, getting them back, and soon, the news was so big it hit CNN.

Now, if you love NCS and Chuggaa's LPs and want to see them make a come back, along with the other suspended LPers, Please sign this petition saying so. This petition is for everyone who lost their channels now, not only NCS.

Hello there. I'd like to introduce SMW for dummies.
This (team)hack is about making new players learn the basics of SMW.

The project leader is SMWC user Devann.
Other participants of this hack:
HyperShadow32- Is a secondary level designer, and also will add some finishing touches, and has made some palettes.
mockingod- Is the main beta tester for the hack, and gives good ideas for it, and also explains how to do some stuff.
MarioEdit- Is the ASM guy, he add's all the patches and codes stuff.
FUGGNUTZ- Make a thread in SMWC for this
Synchronizer- Beta tester, not sure if he was involved in other things, but I thought he made a level.
JeRRy86- Making this thread(obviously), beta testing, making a level for world 3.

Worlds are going to have themes.
World 1 has a basic theme.
World 2 has a Yoshi theme.
World 3 has a Climbing Net/Duck Sliding theme.
World 4 has a more advanced basic theme.
World 5 has a more skilled theme. This will recap everything you learned.
World S - this world will have levels that introduce blocks and sprites and things that are custom, to teach them how to play other hacks. We might even go over Kaizo a little bit. But I wouldn't hold my breath over that. Everything is still a work in progress.
